Thank you to those early adopters of Waypoint that are using the product today, you mean the world to us and we are busy working to create an amazing product for you!
Yesterday we released a few new features for Waypoint that you may or may not have noticed, and we have even more coming at the end of December. Here are the key items that were shipped (along with a few bug fixes and tweaks behind the scenes).
Google Calendar Integration
You can now integrate your Waypoint account with Google Calendar by heading to My Profile > Calendar Sync. This will create a meeting in your calendar whenever a meeting is scheduled inside of Waypoint. It was a highly requested feature and one that we are happy to release, let us know what you think.
When you first sign up for Waypoint it is a bit daunting to have a blank canvas and not know what to do, that is where Demo Teams comes in. You now have a demo team to poke around with and see how Waypoint works in order to get yourself comfortable. These demo teams will evolve as the platform evolves to show off all the functionality of Waypoint.
Waypoint now sends you an email at the start of the week summarizing the meetings you have that week. It also includes your team’s pictures with their engagement circle so you know right where they stand without even having to click into Waypoint. This is the first step, and there is much more in store in the area of Waypoint being your smart leadership assistant. You can toggle your email preferences inside of the My Profile section.
Please let us know if you have any questions. As I said, there is much more in-store that will be released at the end of December, I can’t wait to show it to you.
